The celebrated win last season has fueled aspirations within the team to aim higher, particularly after finishing third in the league with 57 points, trailing the champions Ngezi Platinum Stars by nine points.
Mangombe expressed his optimism and strategic focus for the upcoming season, emphasizing the team’s intent to ascend beyond their third-place finish. “Given our performance last season, it’s clear we need to elevate our game. The inclusion of foreign talents in our lineup is a testament to our commitment towards securing the league title. We’re poised to give it our all and are hopeful for a positive outcome,” Mangombe shared.
Dynamos, known for its proactive approach in the transfer market, has further strengthened its squad with the addition of two international strikers from Namibia and Ghana, aiming to enhance their attacking options. Mangombe expressed satisfaction with his team’s composition, noting the balanced strength across all departments and the seamless integration of the new foreign players.

This match, dubbed the Battle of Zimbabwe, is eagerly anticipated by fans and players alike. Additionally, a pivotal match awaits them at Baobab Stadium on February 24, where they will face Ngezi Platinum Stars in the Castle Challenge Cup. This encounter is particularly significant, as it serves as a rematch of the 2023 Chibuku Super Cup final, where Dynamos emerged victorious with a 2-0 win at the same venue.
