A man has been found stabbed to death on a bus in central London.

Police said the man, aged in his 40s, was found fatally wounded on the 189 bus in Gloucester Place, near Dorset Square, at about 00:10 BST.

Paramedics treated the man, but he was declared dead at the scene. His next of kin have not yet been informed.

A Met spokesperson said no arrests had been made and detectives were investigating when and where the stabbing took place.
