President Mnangagwa to deliver State of the Nation Address Today

The Speaker of Parliament today announced in a Government Gazette Extraordinary that there will a joint sitting of both Houses of Parliament on Tuesday 18th September starting at 12 o’clock noon at Parliament Building in Harare.

The purpose of the joint sitting is to allow President Mnangagwa to address Parliament.

Emmerson Mnangagwa is set out the Government’s legislative agenda for the Ninth Parliament and deliver the State of the Nation Address in terms of section 104(4) of the Constitution.

It is understood that the joint sitting will be preceded by the pomp and ceremony traditionally associated with the opening of the Zimbabwe Parliament.
