The man claimed that he and his wife had been going through a rough patch and that the name change was the final straw, it is reported

The man claimed he and his wife had been going through a rough patch in their marriage and that her name change was the final straw for him.

An eyewitness with a smartphone caught the bizarre incident on camera in Russia’s second city of St Petersburg.

The man, whose name has not been revealed, is seen directing a concrete mixing lorry as it backs up next to the car and then positions the chute through the car’s open driver’s window.

A video shared on YouTube on April 6 shows the car being filled with concrete in front of a store in St Petersburg, Russia. The clip has since gone viral and collected over 2.1 million views so far.

Footage in the video shows a cement mixer filling the front of a car with concrete while several people clicked pictures and recorded videos of the incident.

According to the YouTube description for the video, the woman had apparently changed her surname to win 50,000 roubles (roughly Rs. 57,000) for a promotional activity set up by the local supermarket. It required people to legally change their name to the store’s name ‘Verny’ which translates to faithful.

Reports claim the couple was going through a rough patch in the marriage. The woman’s decision to change her name only created more issues.

“Morons are many, but this is the most moronic moron,” says one commenter in Russian on the YouTube video. “If everything was real, then the question is: why live with such a thing? Surname has already changed. What remains is to change her husband,” says another.

Many others claim the video itself could be a promotional gimmick by the store.
