GRADE seven results for the 2023 examination session will be released next Friday, the Zimbabwe Schools Examinations Council (Zimsec) has announced. The much-anticipated announcement brings an end to the wait for thousands of students and parents across the nation.
Zimsec director, Dr. Lazarus Nembaware, confirmed that the results will be made public at 12 pm on the said Friday. In a statement issued to the press, Dr. Nembaware highlighted the council’s commitment to maintaining high standards in the examination process and the timely release of results.
“The Zimbabwe Schools Examinations Council will release the 2023 Grade Seven Examination results to the nation on Friday, 1 December 2023 at 12 noon,” Dr. Nembaware stated. He further extended an invitation to media houses for a press conference, which will be held at the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council Headquarters in Mount Picasant. The press conference is expected to provide further insights into the examination process and the results.
This year’s examination session was marked by several new measures aimed at ensuring fairness and integrity in the examination process. These measures, as detailed by Zimsec earlier this year, were part of a broader strategy to enhance the quality of education in Zimbabwe.
