United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson is set to make an address from Downing Street on Sunday as eleven more deaths of coronavirus patients in the UK have been announced.
Wales announced the new fatalities this morning, taking the country’s toll to 12. Scotland later detailed three more fatalities, before Northern Ireland confirmed one more.
Boris Johnson said last night that the NHS could be overwhelmed , similarly to how Italy’s health service has, and told people to avoid visiting their parents on Mother’s Day.
It comes after the number of confirmed cases of the virus in the UK since the outbreak began topped 5,000.
