BREAKING: At least 10 Zimbabweans killed in Limpopo bus crash

At least ten Zimbabweans have been killed and dozens injured when a bus rolled down an embankment on the N1 in Limpopo bus crash early on Friday.

The bus transporting 59 passengers was travelling from Harare, Zimbabwe to Gauteng.

Emergency personnel are on the scene to clear the site and control traffic.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.

Details on how many people were actually on the bus and how many are injured are still not available as ambulances are still ferrying the injured to Polokwane Hospital.

“Nine people have been seriously injured and seventeen others have minor injuries,” says spokesperson, Matome Moremi Tawuyatswala.

The Limpopo Department of Transport urged motorists to use an alternative route to avoid the crash‚ which happened close to the Caltex Garage near Polokwane.

Emergency personnel are on the scene to clear the site and control the traffic.
