Voting is underway across London and England for the local council elections.

Elections are being held in around 150 councils, including all 32 London boroughs, with polls open from 7am until 10pm.

Hackney, Lewisham, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Watford will elect mayors, and the first-ever mayor for the Sheffield City region will also be chosen.

It marks the biggest electoral test for Theresa May since last year’s General Election.
