As the days to the upcoming 2018 elections draw near, President Emmerson Mnangagwa has announced he will be dishing out properties to pastors and other church leaders.

This follows a meeting with a preacher who was once beaten up by Vapositori in Budiriro 3 years ago.

Mnangagwa on Monday told pastors he will support them on a request for stands.

Pastors have asked for residential and church stands.

During the Monday meeting, pastors requested free stands with the leader of the Apostolic Christian Council of Zimbabwe Johannes Ndanga launching the demands.

Ndanga is the same man who once prophesied that former President Robert Mugabe would “rule the country until his death.”  Moreover in 2013, Ndanga said,

“As the ACCZ we stand guided by a 1934 prophecy by prophet Masedza that Mugabe would rule this country until he dies hence we will support him at the elections to ensure the prophecy comes to pass.”

Mnangagwa was then likened to the Biblical Joshua who led the Israelites out of Egypt to the Promised Land.

The controversial Ndanga said Mnangagwa’s administration should give free land to domestic churches the same way white colonial governments did to missionary churches.

Mnangagwa then announced that he shall honour his pledge.
