President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa says Zimbabwe should be a middle class society by 2030.

The President was addressing Zimbabwean diasporans in Kinshasa in the DRC this evening.

Cde Mnangagwa took time to update Zimbabweans living in that country in various economic sectors including agriculture and mining saying when the economy starts performing at improved levels the country needs specialists to help develop it.

He also spoke about his recent reengagement with the British who have agreed to help Zimbabwe to deal with the debt burden where the country is requesting debt cancellation, reduction or rescheduling.

Some of the diasporans said they need to bring DRC business partners that are working with francophone companies to work on certain national projects back in Zimbabwe on a BOT basis for the benefit of their home country.

Another businessman spoke of how Zimbabwe could benefit from the export of game like impala, sables and other animals saying other SADC counties like Namibia are spinning foreign currency three times more than Zimbabwe from that trade.
