United Family International Church (UFIC) founder Emmanuel Makandiwa has urged all Zimbabweans to be patient with President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s administration saying becoming a president is a process and there are certain changes that will require more time.

Bidding 2017 farewell at an All Night service held at the UFI Basilica in Chitungwiza, Emmanuel Makandiwa said  a leader cannot be able to take every citizen’s advice.

“Zimbabweans be patient!

You do not become married the day you marry. It’s a process. Becoming a father is not something that happens overnight. Let’s say you become the President or head of your organisation, the first thing you do is to become the president and becoming is a process,” he said.

Makandiwa also added that he was comfortable having a leader who refuses to listen and follow his advice.“We have a leader and I believe he knows what he is doing because he has seen a lot over the years, mistakes and loopholes,” the UFIC leader said.

“Unlike some of our people, they want to have a leader who listens to what they say all the time. I would rather have a leader who ignores what I say.

Why should a leader do everything that you think is right, how can you have the best ideas for a nation that you are not leading?” he asked rhetorically.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa was sworn-in as the country’s Head of State and Government and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces on the 24th of November 2017 when Robert Mugabe resigned as the country’s president after decades-long rule.

The firebrand cleric who has over the years earned a reputation as a Prophet of note and profound spiritual insight accurately prophesied both Mnangagwa poisoning in April 207 and the military intervention that preceded the ouster of former President Robert Mugabe.

“I am saying this because of the things I saw. I wait there waiting for chapters to open. I am not a guy who comes to church to give people false hope,” he openly declared.

Speaking at the New Year’s Eve Prayer a traditional occasional to usher in new year with prayer, thanksgiving and receiving God’s prophetic counsel Emmanuel Makandiwa told his congregants that 2018 will be a year of Territorial Dominance.

Drawing from Hebrews 12 theme scripture he said the heroes of faith from Hebrews 11 should encourage you, inspire you, and help you deepen your trust in the God who still keeps all his promises, so that you might live out your in territorial dominance.

In no uncertain terms he challenged his followers to work extra hard embracing the new political dispensation.

“Ndikunzwe kuti warara na 8, ndikakuona muchiratidzo kuti iwe nemukadzi wako makarara na 8 munguva yavhurwa mukana na Mwari kudai. Vamwe venyu this year I will remove my belt and beat you up feya feya kwete pamweya nekuti munozviitisa imi,” he charged.

Commenting on thanksgiving offerings and sacrificial seeds that have previously generated controversy he said he has always argued with Pastors and Church leaders who say money is not a subject for discussion in church.

“I would want to hear what you talk about at your church because I believe money is Godly. Your congregants work from Monday to Saturday to get money. If you are not talking about it then this is an issue you are not addressing amongst your members. Encourage them to stop going to work then. You are blessed because God does not speak to you. I have a God who speaks to me giving me specifics…,” he added.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa today marks 38 days in office and has continued to promise that his administration will tirelessly work towards a peaceful, politically stable socio economic environment that will restore Zimbabwe’s legacy as the breadbasket of Africa.
