Staff ReporterTwo people died on the spot while an unconfirmed number survived with various injuries when the vehicle they were travelling in veered off the road and overturned in the early hours of Thursday near Shabanie Mine along Buchwa road.
Officer Commanding Zvishavane District Inspector Edward Ncube confirmed the incident although he said he was yet to get the full details.
The injured were reportedly rushed to Shabanie Mine Hospital where they are currently receiving treatment.
Although it is not clear what led to the accident.
Report Focus understands one of the vehicles, a commuter omnibus was heading towards Zvishavane from Mazvihwa with an unspecified number of passengers.
The driver of the commuter omnibus lost control before the vehicle veered off the road and overturned.
