Zimbabwe : Religious organisations encouraged to build the country

Religious organisations have been encouraged to join hands with the government in the fight against corruption and help in praying for the development of the country.

Reverend Dr Ashper Madziyire was speaking during a graduation ceremony at the Living Waters Theological Seminary in the capital.

More than 200 students were conferred with certificates at a graduation ceremony held at the Living Waters Theological Seminary in the capital yesterday.

AFM president Reverend Dr Madziyire emphasized the need for the church to work towards building the nation.

He congratulated the graduates for taking up religious courses saying this helps shape and mould communities spiritually.

Living Waters Theological Seminary principal Apostle Lovejoy Chabata said graduands produced met global trends and encouraged them to teach the true gospel that helps develop our nation.

More than 200 students were conferred with diplomas and executive certificates in ministry, diplomas in theology and executive diplomas in Christian ministry and leadership. ZBC
