Troubled witness shares selfie he took on London Bridge just few minutes before the attack

A horrified and shacken witness shared a selfie he took moments before a van ploughed into pedestrians on London Bridge in a suspected terror attack.

Bradley Myers was walking along London Bridge and took the selfie, saying: “I took this selfie at 9:59 PM, in the exact spot where the truck/van came through a few minutes later.”

He also tweeted an image of emergency services rushing to aid those who were injured on the bridge.


Mr Myers tweeted: “I witnessed what appears to be a terrorist attack on London Bridge.

“I had walked along the pedestrian walkway 2 minutes before the attack, was walking down the stairs to the Thames.

“I am back in my hotel, thanks to those asking. I had attended a wonderful service at StPaulsLondon right before heading over to the bridge.”

Up to 20 people are feared to be injured after a van ploughed into pedestrians on the bridge in central London this evening.

The vehicle mounted the pavement at the scene in central London this evening, according to shocked witnesses.

It comes just two months after a terrorist mowed down pedestrians at Westminster Bridge before stabbing an unarmed cop. Five victims were killed in the attack.

There are unconfirmed witness reports from the scene at London Bridge tonight that people may have been stabbed.

A witness told Reuters she saw people with apparent knife wounds on the bridge.

The Met Police tweeted tonight: “We are dealing with an incident on LondonBridge, when we have more information we will update this twitter feed.”

“Officers are on the scene at londonBridge. More info as we get it.”

The London Ambulance Service tweeted: “Multiple resources attending an incident at LondonBridge, please avoid the area. Only call 999 in an emergency.”
