Trevor Mawaka, a Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) teacher at Charleston Trust Primary School in Bulawayo, is set to launch his much-anticipated book, Curating Bulawayo’s Music Space: Conversations over Coffee. Mawaka, through this literary work, aims to celebrate the city’s vibrant music culture and provide readers with an intimate look at the lives of these creatives.
In addition to the book launch, attendees will be treated to performances by some of the city’s best-known artists. Msiz’Kay, Mzoe 7, Kinah the Music, and MJ Sings are set to grace the stage, adding to the celebratory atmosphere of the event.
The book will be available for purchase at the event for only USD 10. Entry is free, and attendees are encouraged to RSVP by contacting Trevor at 0777 744 703 to secure their spot.
