Staff ReporterA man was shot early today as armed officers swooped on an address in south London.
Met Police officers descended on Lacock Close in Wimbledon shortly after 8am in a pre-planned raid.
The man was injured by a gunshot wound and taken by London Ambulance Service to a London hospital.
A second man has been arrested for conspiracy to rob.
Pictures shared on social media showed forensics and police at the scene behind Garden Shed pub off Haydon’s Road.
Road closures were in place during the incident.
