The Central Intelligence Agency makes a big move against North Korea threat

The Central Intelligence Agency is taking North Korea’s threats very seriously and is gearing up by creating a mission center that will address the possible nuclear and ballistic missile programs.

In a statement released recently, the CIA Director Mike Pompeo said that “Creating the Korea Mission Center allows us to more purposefully integrate and direct CIA efforts against the serious threats to the United States and its allies emanating from North Korea.”

Tensions between the United States and North Korea have been rising steadily for the past month after North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and President Donald Trump had an aggressive exchange of threats and Trump’s deployment of a naval strike group to the West Pacific.

North Korea has not been shy about a possible strike if provoked by the U.S., even conducting live fire drills.
