Staff ReporterAmerican celebrity couple of Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian were a few hours hosted by Uganda’s First Family at State House in Entebbe.
Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni has tweeted that rapper Ye – previously known as Kanye West – gave him a pair of his branded sneakers when they met at State House.
“I thank Kanye for the gift of white sneakers. Enjoy your time in Uganda,” Mr Museveni tweeted.
And what did they talk about?
“I held fruitful discussions with the duo on how to promote Uganda’s tourism and the arts,” the president said.
