Air France will continue operating direct flights between Paris and Cape Town until April 27, 2025, extending its seasonal service to cover Easter holidays and South Africa’s autumn tourist season. The airline will maintain three weekly flights connecting Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) with Cape Town International Airport (CPT).

Wilson Tauro, Air France’s Country Manager for Southern Africa, said the extension responds to sustained traveler demand. “Cape Town continues to be a highly sought-after destination for travellers from across the globe, and we are thrilled to extend this route to meet the growing demand.”

The extended service builds upon Air France’s October 2023 resumption of seasonal flights to Cape Town, which began with three weekly services and expanded to four flights per week in November to accommodate holiday season travelers.

These Cape Town flights complement Air France’s established daily service between Paris and Johannesburg, strengthening the airline’s presence in the South African market.

“This decision reinforces our commitment to providing seamless connections between South Africa and Europe,” Tauro said. “We look forward to welcoming more travellers onboard during this extended season, ensuring they experience the convenience, comfort, and world-class service that Air France is known for.”

The schedule extension from March 30 to April 27, 2025, strategically covers major travel periods, offering increased connectivity for both business and leisure travelers between Europe and South Africa.
