Ramaphosa confirms he will attend Mnangagwa inauguration

SA  President Cyril Ramaphosa is set to attend President-elect Emmerson Mnangagwa’s inauguration on Sunday.

President Ramaphosa will undertake these visits after addressing the Women’s Day national event at Mbekweni, Paarl, in the Western Cape.

In a statement on Thursday morning, the South African Presidency said President Ramaphosa will attend President-elect Mnangagwa’s inauguration as he visits other regional countries.

President Ramaphosa who is also SADC chairperson will meet with President-elect Mnangagwa to discuss issues relating to last week’s harmonised elections before attending the inauguration.

President Ramaphosa will be accompanied by the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Ms Lindiwe Sisulu and Minister of State Security Ms Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba.
