Chamisa mocked for claiming hitmen are after him

June 19, 2018

Movement for Democratic Change Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa has been derided for saying that hitmen are after him.

According to the Daily News, Chamisa told a rally in Victoria Falls that he had gathered intelligence that President Emmerson Mnangagwa had put together a team of security agents to snoop on him and their brief included taking his life.

“I hear they have set up teams that are following me but they won’t succeed in their mission because I have an angelic ark that is around me, so these earthly attempts will fail even if they want to kill me,” MDC leader who is also a pastor said.

Chamisa has been using #Godisinit as one of his hashtags.

Some of the readers of the Daily News were, however, not amused by Chamisa’s claim.

“Find other excuses ma boss who will be that senile to think of an attempt at your life at this juncture,” one commented. “Anyway its politics urikuedza kutsvaka nyaya, chero ukafamba wega mu Mbare hapana anokubata kunze kwekuku secha. so stop being naive.”

Another laughed the claim off saying: “kkkk mukomana haachina zvekutaura uyu, izvozvi muchanzwa aakuti ZANU ndooyakaita kuti stage idonhe.”

But others felt he had a genuine complaint. One wrote: “ndomabasa ezanu pf be carefull they do opposite of what they preach kuti murivare chenjerayi.chisa mbama chisa.”

Another felt Chamisa was a cry baby.

“Cry baby as always. Tricks of politics .Chamisa should be brave and fight.Wake up,” the person wrote, with another adding: “He doesn’t know what to concoct to justify his low ratings.”

Chamisa is one of the 23 candidates that are contesting the presidential elections next month.
