Man killed and two others injured in triple knife attack in east London

A young man has died and two others are injured in hospital after a triple stabbing in east London.

The victim, aged in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene after he was stabbed in Barking in the early hours of Wednesday.

He was found lying on the ground with knife wounds at about 1am in Movers Lane, near to the junction with Ripple Road.

Two other men, both aged in their late teens or early 20s, were also found with stab wounds in the nearby area, Scotland Yard said.

Both were taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life threatening.

Scotland Yard said the Homicide and Major Crime Command has been informed and will be investigation.

There have been no arrests.

A Met Police spokesman said: “Enquiries are underway to confirm the deceased identity and inform all next of kin.”
